Joy | Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

In my role as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), my commitment lies in providing a secure, inclusive, and supportive space for my clients. I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, and families who are navigating challenges such as ADHD, dating and relationships, self-love, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, caregiving, grief, and palliative care. I am fluent in English and French and bring a multicultural perspective to my practice. Additionally, I hold certification as a yoga instructor, integrating holistic approaches into therapy. Drawing from my personal experiences with ADHD and anxiety, I offer a unique understanding and deeper level of support to my clients.

I hold a Master’s in Psychotherapy and Spiritual Care and a Master’s in Political Economy and Sociology. I have specialized training in ADHD coaching, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy, Somatic Therapy and Ecotherapy. I believe in the mind-body connection and taking a holistic approach with clients that involves connecting with nature and the natural world around us.

For over 25 years I have taught across Canada, working with adolescents and teens while recognizing the impact and importance of mental health in our society.
My reputation is built on my empathy and commitment to finding solutions. I aim to inspire my clients to unlock their full potential as they navigate their path to well-being. With unwavering ethical principles, I am appreciated by those I serve for my calming presence.

Acknowledging the importance of finding the right therapist, I extend an invitation for an introductory consultation to begin our journey and I am eager for the opportunity to provide support as you progress forward.
