Psychology and psychotherapy are long-standing passions of mine. I have been in the mental health field since 2011 and am honoured to have practiced as a Psychotherapist for 5 years. I have helped a variety of people, each with a different story. I provide both short and long-term therapy in person at our Cambridge office and online.
I specialize in working with couples on communication, trust, emotional disconnect, sexual intimacy, jealousy, infidelity, separation, parenting styles, in-laws, finances, and resentment. I work to provide a safe, exploratory space to hear each other, heal wounds, and establish new ways of being together using Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
With individual adults, I support anxiety, PTSD, childhood trauma, suicidal ideation, and spirituality. I incorporate Person-centred Therapy, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing into my work. As your Psychotherapist, I create an environment for you to be respected and heard while deepening your understanding of yourself.
I am also trained in working with children (4+ years) who can benefit from learning new tools for social interactions, addressing bullying, school or recreational pressures, and the influences of social media or video games. With children, I integrate both Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to help create an environment where they can feel open to grow.
