I am a registered psychotherapist with the CRPO, holding a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I am also a Certified Trauma Integration Clinician with the ATTCH Academy. I support individuals facing diverse challenges, including trauma, attachment wounding and trauma, complex grief and loss, eating disorders and body image, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and personality disorders (BPD).
I use a holistic, integrative, and neuroscience-informed approach to healing supported by anti-oppressive and harm reduction frameworks. Primary approaches I use include Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS)/parts work, Contemporary Psychoanalysis, ITATM, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Theory, Mindfulness, Person-Centered, Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and the use of expressive arts. Additionally, I am passionate about Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL). Lastly, working from a lens of lived experience of trauma, and mental illness, and supporting children and families with severe mental and physical disabilities widely informs my practice and greatly assists in the delivery of compassionate care.
I believe in a collaborative partnership and strive to bring a gentle, compassionate, and non-judgemental space. I believe we are the experts on our own stories and my role as a therapist is to help you dig a little deeper and uncover parts of yourself where you may feel misaligned, disconnected, or in conflict.
