As a second-generation immigrant and bicultural individual, I bring a unique perspective to my practice at Atlas Therapy, valuing diversity of thought, people, and experiences. I work with children (10+), teens, and adults facing interpersonal conflicts, trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Additionally, I support the LGBTQ community and indigenous populations, understanding the cultural challenges that arise from being underrepresented.
My approach integrates person-centred, trauma-informed, and humanistic therapies with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and Psychodynamic Therapy to best meet your needs.
I believe that as we navigate the stages and seasons of life, we encounter shared themes that resonate deeply within our collective human experience. What drives me most in the therapeutic space is witnessing transformative moments that come from feeling heard, seen, and validated as unique individuals. These moments hold immense power in fostering growth and healing.
As an intern therapist and member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, I offer both online and in-person services at our Cambridge office. I strive to bring a wealth of knowledge to my practice with over six years of front-line experience working with adults living with schizophrenia, psychosis, and suicidal ideation, as well as mothers and children navigating homelessness.
Recognizing the importance of finding the right therapist, I invite you to schedule a free introductory consultation with me. I commend your courage in taking these initial steps, and I look forward to helping provide you with hope and stability during times of change and uncertainty.
