I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO, holding a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I specialize in children (6+), adolescents and teens with anxiety, OCD, phobia, panic, uncontrollable emotions, impacts of social media and low self-esteem. I also provide support to mothers navigating parenting, fear, guilt, and overwhelm. Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness, I assist clients in overcoming challenges by fostering self-acceptance and self-compassion, teaching effective techniques for managing difficult thoughts and feelings, reconnecting to the present moment, and identifying meaningful actions aligned with their values. I also integrate Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Exposure Therapy and Solution-Focused approaches to tailor treatment to your specific therapeutic goals.
Facing persistent challenges can be overwhelming, especially after putting in significant effort to manage them. Beginning therapy might seem unfamiliar, but I’m here to support you every step of the way and embark on this healing journey alongside you. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts and feelings in a supportive and empathetic environment, guiding you toward your wellness goals on your mental health journey.
Seeking help may not always feel easy, but I’m here to assist you through any uncertainties and obstacles you may encounter. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to connect with you and support you in your journey towards healing and growth.
